M.C.Wright & Associates conducts Environmental Assessments (EAs) for proposed projects in accordance with the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA). Under the federal Fisheries Act, no works occurring in or around water may result in Habitat Alteration, Disruption or Destruction (HADD) without prior authorization from Fisheries and Oceans Canada (FOC). M.C. Wright & Associates has extensive experience with siting proposed facilities in order to minimize impacts, representing clients through the application and approval process, designing effective marine habitat compensation projects, and performing the required environmental monitoring during the construction of both the facility and the compensation project(s).
